One year ago, President Trump signed the Global Gag Rule, which bans us from US Government funding because we believe in a woman’s right to choose. When the policy was signed, it was difficult to predict what impact it would have on our organization.
In a new piece, Devex details how one year on, the Global Gag Rule’s full impact is beginning to emerge. If we don’t find replacement funding, more than two million women and girls will go without MSI services by 2020.
